Camber Getaways Terms & Conditions

  1. Booking is made between you and Camber Getaways (UK Getaways Ltd).
  2. Once you have paid a deposit and your booking is confirmed, you are accepting our terms and conditions.
  3. The person paying the deposit and making the booking is liable to accept all terms and conditions, for all guests within the party.
  4. We cannot transfer your booking once the contract has been accepted. If you want to make any changes a charge of £40 admin fee will be charged. We are unable to accept major changes of dates or caravan choice.
  5. If you wish to cancel your booking please refer to the cancellation policy.
  6. To claim any special offers, please notify us when you book.
  7. Advertised prices are subject to increase or decrease however the amount confirmed upon booking is the price you are accepting and will not change for the selected dates.
  8. When booking, please give all names and ages of guests, as these will be the only people permitted to occupy your holiday home. Anyone not named will be asked to leave the park, with no refund or compensation.
  9. Total numbers of people allowed for each holiday home, must not exceed what is advertised.
  10. We do not allow single sex groups, stag or hen parties. If you are unsure if your booking is allowed please confirm with us before paying a deposit, as we will not be liable for cancellations once booked.
  11. All bookings must be made by a responsible adult aged 25 and over who must also be staying for the duration of the booking.
  12. Arrival time is 4pm, departure time by 10am. If you do not adhere to the requested departure time, we reserve the right to charge for any inconvenience caused.
  13. ID will be required when checking in by the person making the booking.
  14. All children must be supervised by parents or guardians. Children remain the parents’ or guardians’ responsibility at all times.
  15. If you have a disability and are unsure if the accommodation or park are suitable for you, please confirm with us before paying a deposit as we will not be liable for cancellations once booked.
  16. If any of your party suffers from allergies we recommend you do not book any of our pet friendly accommodation.
  17. Smoking is not permitted in any of our holiday homes. If you do smoke, you will be charged your full £100 deposit. Please also stand away from windows and doors to prevent smoke from blowing in.
  18. Dogs are allowed in our designated pet friendly holiday homes. Please take note some are small dog only. Holiday homes advertised as dog friendly, can take 2 dogs maximum of any size. Dog charge is £25 per dog, per break. Dogs must not be left in any holiday homes unattended, and when being walked must remain on a lead at all times.
  19. We ask you leave the holiday home in a neat and tidy condition. Washing up must be done properly and put away, plus cookers must be left clean. If we are required to spend any extra time cleaning due to the condition in which the holiday home is left you will be charged accordingly from your deposit.
  20. We reserve the right to enter the holiday home at any time, in an emergency or special conditions.
  21. You are responsible for your possessions on park and in your holiday home. We cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage. If you leave any possessions behind after you have checked out we will try to return them, but cannot make any guarantees.
  22. We offer a large selection of hired items. A full list will be sent to you before full payment is due. Travel cots are not supplied with cot bedding, you will need to bring your own.
  23. All payments are due 28 days before arrival. By default the balance will be requested from the same card that you paid the deposit with. If you do not wish to pay the balance with the same card you will need to contact us to advise us how you would like to settle the balance in advance of the payment date. You will be sent a reminder 28 days before your arrival date. Payment is required to be made by yourself either by logging in to the guest area or over the phone. If no payment is made we will automatically attempt to take payment if you have provide card details previously. Holidays not paid for in time will be cancelled with no refund given. We will try our best to contact you, but we will not be held liable for lack of payment.
  24. You will be provided with our on-call number when you arrive. If you should have a problem, you can contact us directly on that number. All problems must come via Camber Getaways regarding accommodation. If you have a complaint after leaving, please put it in writing and e-mail to [email protected]
  25. On the very rare occasion that the property that you have booked is not available with will provide you with a suitable alternative or a credit for the full value of the booking. Once accepted the matter is then closed.
  26. Our website is written by us and every effort is made to make sure the information available to you is correct. Photo’s are taken of the exact caravan you will be staying in.
  27. Deposits will be refunded within 7 days of departure, once all checks have been made. You will be notified by e-mail of any deductions from your deposit.

Holiday Park Properties Specific Terms (disregard for house or apartment properties)

  1. If you booked property is located on the holiday park then please be aware it is a family oriented park, so please behave appropriately and make sure your booking party also behave. If we, or the park staff, feel your behaviour is illegal, offensive, disruptive, inappropriate or disturbing to other guests you will be asked to leave the park and no refund will be given.By accepting these terms you are also accepting PDR on-site terms and conditions, which are available upon request.
  2. Park facilities have requirements regarding health and safety. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult when swimming, maximum 2 children per adult. At busy times the swimming pool offers a booking system, or one in; one out. No photography is allowed in the swimming pool.
  3. Entertainment is available on park, entrance requires passes. These can be purchased on our website during the booking process, at our office when checking in, or directly at the park. Although entertainment schedules are often pre-released, changes to this can still be made and we nor PDR will be liable for any inconvenience caused. If PDR do have to close facilities, neither they nor us are liable and will not compensate. Neither cigarettes or e-cigarettes are permitted in the entertainment centre.
  4. Linens and towels are supplied and will be dressed ready for your arrival.
  5. Please make sure you take care moving around the park and supervise children at all times.
  6.  Please respect the speed limits, parking and traffic regulations.
